Two-part BackPack Harness Vest for your Working dog. This backpack Harness Set is not only functional but looks very attractive on your K-9 working partner. This vest is loaded with features and is quality made with all seams double sewn. This backpack harness vest is made from 1000 Denier Poly Duck fabric and it is lined with quilted fabric for comfort. The quilted fabric lets the dog’s skin breathe better and there is no slippery vinyl on the bottom of the harness vest that tends to slide around the dogs back. The top of the harness has a D-ring to attach your leash or lead and a handle. The front chest part of the harness attaches with wide Hook and Loop so it is secure and adjustable. The girth strap is a comfortable wide strap that closes with a side release snap buckle and it is adjustable. This strap is sewn all the way around the harness making it securely attached to the harness and the dog. The bottom harness could also be used as a large service vest or coat for your dog should you not want to use the backpacks that are detachable. The Hook and Loop on top of the harness and on the bottom of the top of the backpacks is attached the entire length of the harness and backpack so the backpacks attach securely. The backpack bags attach with the Hook and Loop on the top and have added Hook and Loop between the packs and harness bottom giving it more stability. Now while your dog is running or loaded unevenly, the backpack bags stay in place and are not floppy in the wind.

Each backpack side closes with a zipper. There is a nylon netting see through outer pouch on each side. This is great for carrying your Frisbee or items that you frequently require. The backpacks are designed to fit over the handle and D-ring so that both the D-ring and handle can be used while the backpacks are attached to the harness. The backpack bags are large approximately 10”x13” and expand 3”. The rounded flowing design of the bottom of these backpacks makes them a more functional and safer design. There are no flopping belts on this backpack harness vest which tend to catch on objects. This 2 piece Backpack Harness Vest is made to carry lots of stuff and is a workhorse for traveling.

Girth Size: 32” - 38”

This vest comes with 4 patches: regular patches (not specialty patches)

Note on Service vs. Therapy Dogs:
Service Dogs are dogs that perform a task for their disabled handler. The handler has public access rights with a Service Dog and they are protected under Federal ADA law, and allowed to enter public property with their Service Dog. (Handler must be considered disabled and the dog must perform a task.)
Therapy Dogs are dogs that meet the needs of others (such as visiting people in nursing homes, hospitals, pet therapy work, and reading groups, etc.) Handlers do not have ADA public access rights with Therapy Dogs and must have permission from an establishment to enter.
On the back of the Therapy Dog or Search & Rescue IDs, we put a statement about the work that these dogs perform.
