I would not take my dog out for a bike ride without using this product. A couple of years ago on a hot summer day my dog and I bicycled to a friend’s house that was about six miles from my house. This is the best stuff for hot or cold protection on your dog’s paws. Before we bike I just open the top of the jar and slide his paws across the wax. This works very well and we have never had any paw problems since we started using Musher’s Secret. Even on a hot day where we have to do a lot of blacktop walking I will use this paw protection. Dog musher’s who sled & cart their dogs have used this stuff for years. There are other wax protection products that have been recently introduced into the market. Read the label and check the ingredients for the dog’s safety. Musher’s secret is the only all natural human grade product on the market. For example if a dog would accidentally ingest the Musher’s secret the dog will not be harmed. Whereas a product with lanolin would be harmful if swallowed.
