The Padded Harness Vest is made of two layers of weather resistant, 1000 denier nylon/urethane coated fabric. The inside of the vest is padded for your dog's comfort. All seams are bound and reinforced for added strength and durability.

On one side of the harness is a plastic swivel snap. The snap can be used to attach an ID badge (sold separately). The Handle is covered with reflective webbing for added visibility and safety.

The vest fits over the dog's head and attaches with a wide, quick release buckle on the adjustable girth strap. The front chest strap has slides for two-way adjustment.

Note on Service vs. Therapy Dogs:
Service Dogs are dogs that perform a task for their disabled handler. The handler has public access rights with a Service Dog and they are protected under Federal ADA law, and allowed to enter public property with their Service Dog. (Handler must be considered disabled and the dog must perform a task.)
Therapy Dogs are dogs that meet the needs of others (such as visiting people in nursing homes, hospitals, pet therapy work, and reading groups, etc.) Handlers do not have ADA public access rights with Therapy Dogs and must have permission from an establishment to enter.
On the back of the Therapy Dog or Search & Rescue IDs, we put a statement about the work that these dogs perform.
